Featuring Best Wishlist: Justice This Christmas

A Wish For

JUSTICE

Although it has been a tiring week for me, It turned out to be a great one. Xavier University Days or simply XU Days (December 3-6, 2008) paved way of my imagination and creativity (as i think it is) when the Student Volunteer Leader told us to contribute a little help for the Light a Tree Contest. As a student volunteer, I was not just helping for the sake of giving a hand to light the XU-Law Tree but was giving a concept that should be an eye-opener not just for children but for adults as well. Coining the concept of instead putting shiny balls and decorations all-over the tree, I am so proud to put up pictures around the tree portraying some injustices that need attention and of course pictures that show some of solutions to those injustices.

These are some of the pictures around the tree to feel the drama of justice around it (I just googled them up) :

From top left to right and down left to right: a picture portraying VIOLENCE ON WOMEN, UNJUST AGRARIAN TREATMENT, INJUSTICE TO LUMADS and TO PRISONERS.

These following pictures also show some solutions :

Solutions like: THE JUSTICE SCALE, THE U.N. CONVENTIONS, STOPPING WAR, STOPPING VIOLENCE ON WOMEN, UNITY, and most of all TURNING UP TO JESUS.

If you think that this one is too dramatic to be considered but this one should be part of anybody's wishlist this coming Christmas. Just a little wish will do and for the religious it should be in a form of a PRAYER. In this way we can show our little concern for the entire GLOBAL JUSTICE. In effect, we can attain LOVE, PEACE, UNITY and COOPERATION among nations. Remember my post regarding LAW OF ATTRACTION? Use that as a tool in wishing for JUSTICE, even if you can't do any actual action, somebody will do it for you... Jesus has already set an example FOR US and I know for sure somebody also will. LET US put first in the list A WISH FOR JUSTICE before any material wishes. I strongly believe that there is a need for everybody to start thinking of this, I just hope you can feel it too. Thank you and Happy Wishing.

Featuring Best Film: The Secret (2006 film)

These are the few famous lines coming from the film:

The Secret was Buried.
The Secret was Coveted.
The Secret was Suppressed.

Although the film has been criticized badly, some of the people I know, including me, believe in the power of LAW OF ATTRACTION. The film informed a lot, more than we used to do and think everyday. The film turned out to be a great presentation of facts, events, and experiences interconnected with supernatural things and beings or beliefs.

It shows from the very beginning that there is this one thing that people must use and should use in their everyday lives as a tool but most people didn't realize it. That one thing is the power of the MIND that utilizes the GREAT LAW OF ATTRACTION. The power that is innate in each and everyone of us and is awaiting for our interaction.

The basic principles of asking, answering or believing, and receiving are revealed in the film as the three simple steps in achieving or realizing a goal. I believe that, although this is so much inclined in material satisfaction, this should be as true as meditation (in most Asian practices) and simple prayer (as in mostly done in many religion). When we want something, we pray for it or ask for it from a source (in the film it is revealed that the universe is the source) and it doesn't end just right there. We should believe that the thing that we are asking is coming in its way and once it is there, we then should be open to accept it. It is a way of attracting what we want to have or what we want to achieve.

It has different impact both in religious and non-religious. For the religious, the UNIVERSE is GOD or somehow a source within ourselves or a belief of the existence of GOD. For non-religious, the SOURCE is the UNIVERSE itself. It is said that each one is interconnected with each other and things with an unseen bond (a form of an unseen strings maybe) that each thing we ask is addressed to that sense of BOND and is given to the person asking it through that BOND. (just think of how the neurons are transmitted through the nervous system or how the electricity works)

The film also introduced the emotional system. There are two emotions good and bad or positive and negative. When we ask for something it will be given if we are positive that it will be given to us but when we are negative about it, nothing or worse things can happen. This negative or bad emotions become hindrance to THE SECRET.

If you reconcile both the usage from different aspects for both religious or non-religious (scientific or methodological), it has the same impact because GOD is the BOND between religious. When we ask to the GOD that we know, we are using THE SECRET unconsciously and many of the prayerful folks out there are very expert on that field.

The monks, I think, are using both religious and non-religious way of dealing with THE SECRET. Maybe, most of the world's powerful people have used it long time ago and hid the real story about it. It was also revealed in the film, on theory basis, that some of the great people in the world used the SECRET.

Whether you belong to the religious or to the non-religious, you may use THE SECRET that has long been buried, then coveted and now suppressed.

I strongly believed that the film or the idea that the film is relaying to the public is neither detrimental nor prejudicial to any belief, religion, custom, tradition, methods, or practices but rather becomes a tool for self-development. The Secret: Law of Attraction is to be used for GROWING or developing our physical, mental or psychological, emotional and spiritual aspect not for any SELFISH wants or VANITY. Use it as it corresponds to the flow of the UNIVERSE (simply think of the people and things around).

Now, PRAY and ASK for good things to come in your life. BELIEVE that it has come its way to you. When it is there, be OPEN and ACCEPT it. This is a form of positive thinking, a form of deep spiritual relief, and a form of self-determination and development. USE it and BELIEVE in it.

Thank you so much. Please feel free to comment. WATCH the film before you say anything.

Featuring Best: My Poetic Deeds

I Found a Day

by bfp

I found a house in me that fed

A thousand tiny insects lining head.

I bound a place in me I heed

But never wisdom is gotten from a seed.

A round corner with fullness of flowers,

I hoot because I laugh at a bee that cowers.

What a wonderful day I found, it hovers

Along the mighty river with waters, it covers.

Over the fields of stones, I run, never a cut

In my feet have distorted a view in my hut.

A sound reached at the wood-stone I sat

And found blazing eyes that formed a rat.

A string to juxtapose coring wrecks

In this day, above my feet, below these decks,

Century birds flew, made nests on teaks.

They’ll not suffer but laugh at simple tweaks.

I found a day to discover a new day.

In a fine morn, stingray hobbled with sunray.

The shore so simple, just walk on by,

Nocturnal primates lurk, moon so high.

I‘ll find a day until I find you,

Hide and seek until you find me.

I don't know but people say that expressing yourself in a poetry is a great relief of some inner pain. This one is inspired by things that depressed me. I believe that Poetry is an expression of what you want to do, what you want to feel, what you want to be, and especially want you want to harvest in your life. Sometimes, it is a complex feeling inspired by a contradicting emotion, and through poem expressing that complexity is a way of finding yourself somewhere in a point of time or a place.

People also say that best poets have poems written in worst drafts. Poets with 10 best poems can have 100 or more worst poems. But I don't care to draft my poem. All I care about is to express myself and this is the result. I admit I also drafted this one but only in one setting. The QUESTION is DO YOU DO POEM?

Please post your comment. thanks so much.
